Orangeburg - Mr. Bobby L. Valentine, 64, entered into rest Thursday, February 24th, 2005 at his 255 Shillings Bridge Road residence. Mr. Valentine was born in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late John David and Fannie Mae Huges Valentine. Mr. Valentine was also preceded in death by
children Dora Smith and Gerald Bonner. He was a
Vietnam Conflict veteran and retired from the S. C.
National Guard after serving in the U. S. Army.
Mr. Valentine is survived by his wife Willie Mae Wood
Valentine of the home, sons James "Buddy" Bonner, and David Bonner, daughters Bobbie Valentine,Nellie Rae Adkins, Mae Lawson and Linda Lange, 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, brothers John C. Valentine, Ernest Valentine, Jackie Valentine and Donald Valentine and sister Rose Mary McAlhany.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 27th at 3 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be
