Agnes Golik Bartos

Pelion – Agnes Golik Bartos, 75, died January 17, 2018 peacefully in her sleep.  She was born April 6, 1942 to the late Thaddeus Golik and Josephine Wojciechowka in Rockville Centre, New York.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Baldwin Bartos.  She is survived by her two sons: Arthur Bartos and Steven Bartos of Pelion, SC., one grandson Devin Alexander Bartos and one great grandson, Bryson, two sisters and their spouses, Ann and Bob Freda of Long Island, New York, Florence and Bob Francis of Buffalo, New York, one brother Ted and Carol Golik of New York, several nieces and nephews and a former daughter in law, Sonya Steedley Bartos.

Agnes loved her cats, sewing, crocheting, and quilting.  Until her death, she was a healthcare provider for the elderly, a caring mother and friend to the community.

 She was a retired telephone operator for Southern Bell phone systems and a former employee of the University of South Carolina.

 A Memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 am at Florence Baptist Church, Pelion, SC.
