I just found out that Bobbie passed in May. I don't know how I didn't know about this but I wanted to express my sincere condolences to the entire family. Bobbie was a kind, loving woman and I was blessed to know her and be related to her. I have such fond memories of spending time at Fanny and Byron's house while I would stay with Grandma and Granddaddy Smith during the summer. Such a loving family. God bless and keep you all in his loving care.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God’s promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

I am sorry to hear of your loss. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. The Bible promise; "God is close to the brokenhearted." Also, It says: "Throw your burden on God and he will sustain you." (Psalms 34:18 and 55;22) The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life. (John 5:28,29) I hope this message offers comfort in your time of sadness.

Bobbie, Cannot talk about one without talking about Mel, too! We were a foursome for many years. I can say, my best friends. We did everything together! We moved around a lot and Mel and Bobbie were there for all our moves! We Square Danced together, Went white water Rafting, camping, went on sight seeing tours, every year. We had so many adventures together, I could fill a book. I am going to miss her greatly! I love her and she was like a sister to me! I would like anyone reading this to think of the good times with Bobbie, Bet you will grin and love it! My Love, sympathy, and prayers goes out to all of you. Aunt Beverly, uncle Tom
