Benjamin Joseph "Joe" Bolin, Sr.

Perry – Mr. Benjamin Joseph “Joe” Bolin, Sr., 75, went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his wife of 43 years, the late Janice Perry Bolin on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Joe is the father of Benjamin J. “Joey” Bolin, Jr. of Gilbert, Michelle Bolin of Burgaw, NC, Victoria “Vikki” Bolin of Salley, Becky Bolin and Pammela Baker of Burgaw, NC.  He is the grandfather of; Corey Bolin, Derrick Bolin, Ashley Bolin, Johnny DeHart, Christian Day, Meagan Jeffcoat, Kourtnie Jeffcoat, and Christopher Caj Baker, and Samuel Pinner and great grandfather of; Jordan Anderson, Jaden Anderson, Aiden DeHart, Adryan Eagerton, Hunter Bolin, Forest Bolin, Brayden Lee Haynes, and the late Ryan Eagerton. Joe is the brother of Margaret Hallman of Gaston, Inez Hutto of Neeses, Mack Bolin of Gaston, the late Thomas Bolin, the late Hugo Bolin, Jr., and the late Noah “Red” Bolin.  He has many nieces and nephews.

Joe was born in Orangeburg, SC to the late Hugo Bolin, Sr. and the late Jane Ellen Randall Bolin.  Joe loved his family, fishing and was a gifted painter.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10th  from 10:00 am - 11:00 am .  A service celebrating Joe’s life will be held Friday at 11:00 am also in the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services.   Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be; Corey Chaney, Johnny DeHart, Patrick Eagerton, Matthew Goodwin, Heath Short, and Chip Staple.
