I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I know I took one turn already but there's not enough room. You know Carl taught me the whole "White Album." We hoboed a little, working on the way. Nothin's free. Carl was a carpenter. A good one too. He believed in old school. Traditional tools. He loved wood. Had a special relationship with it. I respected that.. When your friends start checkin out from natural causes its a different kind of sadness. I know you want to keep this private so I'll leave you now. Again, I'm just sorry for your loss. If there's anything I can do its 603 6889. From an old broken down pipe welder who wishes he'da had a chance to run into him one more time. Jerry Powell.

So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Carl and I were best of friends in the late 70s and early 80s. We played a lot of music together and went many miles on the road at out of town jobs. I was friends also with Glenn and Arnold and Harry, his dad. If there is anything I can do to extend my hand please feel free to let me know. We lost touch but Carl will always live in my memory as a friend and brother. Again, so sorry for your loss.
