Mrs. Dodson, thanks for being such a wonderful role model, wife, and mother (grand), and FRIEND! We are in the Texas area now but would have been at this funeral if we were able to! Todd and I were married by Mr. Dodson at the Green Branch church in Barnwell and my son, Luke, was dedicated also. Mrs. Dodson let me borrow a veil for our wedding! The angels are praising God for the Dodson's gifts to this world!

Dear Leroy, Andreina, Bryan, Ken and Family,
Ann and I were so saddened to learn of Carolyn's passing. I have so many fond memories of times spent with all of you...not just having fun while working at the old Red & White, but of times spent eating together, being at your house, and just talking with all of you. I enjoyed so much watching Andreina, Bryan and Ken become adults. I cherish all of the serious talks with Leroy and Carolyn. I praise God for the length of time that our families were so intertwined and then how God sent us all on to bigger and better things. Praise His name for His guidance. Precious memories...how they linger...how they ever flood my soul. I will remember Carolyn with much love and fondness. I will remember her as a mother, a friend and a passionate Christian.
Although our paths seldom cross, please know that all of you have my prayers, my deepest sympathy and my most heartfelt love and admiration. I pray that God will continue to keep you in His arms as you go through this difficult time.

From the day I married Bryan she and Mr. Leroy made me feel like I was one of their own. She wouldn't tell me I was her daughter in law- she referred to me as her daughter in LOVE. I'm so very thankful for the opportunity I got to be her daughter in love! She will definitely be missed, but I know that the only thing above her love of her family was the love of the one she has met now.
