Wagener – Mr. Frank N. Gomillion, 86, entered into rest, Thursday, April 27, 2017.
Mr. Frank is the father of Brenda (Tommy) Lybrand and Lynda Weaver of Aiken, Leon “Junior” (Mary Grace) Casselman, Frankie (Carolann) Turbeville, and Teresa (William) Syler of Andrews and Sadie (Eugene McCray) Gomillion of Wagener. He is the grandfather of Sonya, Jason, Sabrina, Cole, Felisha, Rachel, Christina, Matthew, Dustin, David, Courtney, Darian, Raymond, Sean, Cody, Kyrique and Darnell. He is the great grandfather of 15. He is the brother of Curtis “Buster” Gomillion, Patricia “Tootie” Thompson, Godfrey “Boogie” Platts, Robert Platts, John Platts, Joseph Platts, Dianne Wysck and the late Pete Gomillion. He is the husband of the late Lois E. Johnson Gomillion, and the son of the late Lloyd Gomillion and Anna May Platts.
Mr. Frank’s passion was music, he is well known for his recording “Cattle Call”. . A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 pm on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the home of Godfrey “Boogie” Platts.
