Gene Lamar Heyward

Wagener – Mr. Gene Lamar Heyward, 76, entered into rest Sunday, September 3, 2017.

Mr. Gene was the husband of the late Barbara Green Heyward. He was the son of the late Harvie and Thelma Erlene Mills Heyward. Gene was the brother of Inez Page of Monroe, GA and the late Joyce Black. He was the Uncle of Chris (Teresa Sox) of Wagener, Ethan (Shannon) Page of Nashville, TN, and Rhonda (Hugh) Melton of Loganville, GA.

Gene was a member of Seivern Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the S. C. National Guard.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday, September 5th in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 6th at 2 pm also in the chapel with Rev. Geoff Masson ministering. Burial will be in the Seivern Baptist Church cemetery.
