Glenn A. Bodie

Wagener – Mr. Glenn A. Bodie, 71, entered into rest, Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 22nd at 4 pm with visitation to follow at Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, Wagener, SC

Glenn was the son of the late Oscar Manuel and Lena Ruby Fulmer Bodie.  He was the father of Michael Glenn Bodie and Bryan Glenn Bodie.  Glenn was a Papa and Poppy to 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was the brother of Edward Bodie, Farrell Bodie, Patricia B. Jackson and the late Oscar Eugene Bodie. 

Also, he had a great affection for his dog, Buddy.

Glenn was a veteran of the United States Army.

In his younger and better health days, Glenn had a zest for life that kept a smile on his face and he thoroughly enjoyed a good laugh.  Fishing with his friends was a great pastime and he loved riding in his truck just to feel the breezes blow.  Throughout Glenn’s life, he gathered numerous friends and fought and loved them all.  He had a kind heart and lent a helping hand at any opportunity.

Glenn lived as he pleased and was always his little sister’s protector.  Family was very important to him.

God has a place reserved for Glenn and he will walk on two good legs to claim it.
