Gretchen "Gret" Bari (Smith) Lucas

Pelion – Gretchen “Gret” Bari Smith Lucas, 70, entered into rest Sunday, September 10, 2017

Gretchen is the mother of Jacquelyn “Jackie” E. Lucas of Loganville, GA, Bridgette D. and Harold “Hal” Still of Lexington, the late James Loyd Lucas Jr., and the late Joey Dean Lucas. She is the daughter of Jacquelyn Cooper Tanner and the late Lowell R. Smith.  Her stepmother is Mildred Smith of Pelion, and her stepfather is Delma Tanner of Pelion.  Gretchen is the sister and sister-in-law of Susan and Phil Tindal of Pelion, Mike and Barbara Tanner of Gilbert, the stepsister of Rhett Smith of Pelion and the late Cliff Smith.  Gretchen is the grandmother of Rhiannon Underwood of Buford GA, Brandi Lucas, Ted Derrick, Destiny Derrick, Bree Derrick,  Cheyenne Lucas, Caleb Lucas, and Isaac Lucas all of Pelion. She is the great grandmother of many and she had 2 great great grand children.  She is the aunt of several nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 16th, from 6 – 8 pm at the home of Bridgette and Hal Still, 121 Copper Bluff Road, Lexington, SC 29073.
