June Fulmer Deese

Aiken - Earth lost a saint and Heaven gained an angel. June Fulmer Deese, 61, of Aiken, SC was surrounded by family when she entered into rest on Tuesday, February, 27th.

Born in Aiken on May 9th, 1956 to Paul and Arbutis Fulmer, she married her high school sweetheart Ronnie Deese on December 26, 1973. June, was a loving mother, devoted wife, and proud grandmother. June enjoyed woodworking, planting flowers and working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul Glenn Fulmer and mother Velvet Arbutis Fulmer. June is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronnie Deese, her daughter Velvet McBride, and her son Billy (Kristin) Deese. Her grandchildren; Jackson Deese, Hans Deese, Connor McBride, Loralei Deese, and Kennedy McBride. She is also survived by her brother and sister; Glenn (Vickie) Fulmer and Joan (Andy) Patterson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert C. (Gloria) Deese, Rita Snipes, Patsy (Jimmy) Cook, Frank (the late Vickie) Deese, Marie (John) Morgan, and Perry (Chris) Deese, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 3-5 PM, Sunday, March 4th at Bethcar Baptist Church Fellowship Building in Wagener, SC. The Funeral Service will begin at 5 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Chris Addy will be ministering to the family.
