Linda Louise (Barefoot) Rushton

Wagener – Mrs. Linda Louise Barefoot Rushton, 65, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Mrs. Linda is the widow of Eddie Dean Rushton, Sr. who were married for thirty-nine years. She is the loving mother and mother-in-law of Tammy L. Aleshire and Travis of North Charleston, Eddie D. Rushton, Jr. and Chasty of Wagener, and Amanda S. Rabon and Jonathan of Salley. Mrs. Linda is the grandmother “Nanny” of  Andrew Aleshire, Justin Hall, Ryan Hallback, Amber Bracci, Brittany Evans, Brandon and Beth Evans, Logan Rushton, Dylan Rushton, Zoe Rushton, Wyatt Rushton, Jessica Rabon, Jonathan Rabon, Jr., and Christa Rabon. She is the great grandmother of Kayden Jay , and would be the great grandmother of Harper Reighlyn Hall and Leann Nicole Evans this July. Mrs. Linda is the daughter of the late Onnie L. Barefoot and Ronnie Mae Green Barefoot. She is the sister of Dickie Barefoot of Aiken, David Barefoot of New Mexico, and Joanne and Cecil Boatwright of Seneca. A special thank you to Peggy and Michael Jackson for their love and being like family.

Mrs. Linda attended St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Swansea.

Visitation is Friday, March 16th from 1 to 3 pm, in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm Friday, March 16th also in the chapel with the Rev. H. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Wagener Cemetery.
