Mr. Tommy was the son of the late Flossie Davis Williams and the late Thomas Hayden Williams, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Daniel Yon; and his sister, Miriam Williams Collum.

Mr. Tommy leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and service. He served his country with honor as a Veteran of the South Carolina National Guard. He was a faithful and devoted member of Perry Baptist Church for 84 years. He served as deacon and contributed to the church in numerous other capacities.

Mr. Tommy’s heart for serving extended to his neighbors and community, where he dedicated 41 years of service to the Town of Perry in various capacities, including police chief, councilmember, and mayor.
