About Us

Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services  is family owned and has been operated continuously for two generations by the Blizzard family. Through years of dedication and sensitivity to the needs of families, the name "Blizzard" has become synonymous with trusted funeral service at a reasonable cost. This has been continually attested to since 1972 by hundreds of families we have served.

Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been a family owned business since 1932.  Originally known as Baughman Funeral Home, Hubert Blizzard began working with the Baughmans in 1952 and purchased the funeral home in 1972.   Carrying on the family calling of Funeral Service, Hubert's son, Wilson Blizzard began working with the Funeral Home at the young age of 15.   Wilson and his wife Cindy now own and manage the family business.  You can be assured with this being our business; we take great personal pride in our services, facilities, and staff.

Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services staff's desire is to care for your every need during this most difficult time, and extend our services to all.  We work with families to ensure the life of your loved one is celebrated.  Our goal is to offer more than a traditional funeral but also offer personalization  of funerals to celebrate and honor the life of your loved one. We are Family when you need us.

We gladly provide prearrangements, at-need arrangements, cremation services and all full service needs.  We accept prearranged contracts and insurance policies.  You are welcome to call us at any time of the day, any day of the week, for immediate assistance.  Or, visit our funeral home in person at your convenience.  We also provide a wealth of information here on our web site so you can learn more from the privacy of your own home.
