Albert Howard

Wagener – Albert “Hillbilly” Howard, 72, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 13, 2019.

Mr. Howard is the husband of 51 years to Cathereen Bishop Howard. He is the father of Robin “Tater” and Charles Halsey, Bubba and Angie Howard, Tammy “Ludy” Zimmerman, Tucker and Tommy Swartz, Buck and Mandy Howard, and Rose and J.J. Thomas. He is the grandfather of Tootie and Adam Phifer, Jr Halsey, Kaylee Halsey, Charlie “Little Man” Halsey, Sam “Little Sam” and Haley Hutto, Brian “Little Bubba” Hutto and Candyce Jackson, Bonnie Hutto, Megan “Mullet” and Robert Garvin, Danielle “Yella” Swartz, Josh "Bocephus” Howard, Brittany “Boo” Howard, Amanda “Nana” Howard, Brianna “Cooter” Howard, Hannah “B Dog” Howard, Diana Thomas, Dillon Thomas, and the late Dakota Thomas, Brianna Westmoreland, Danielle Gunter, Dustin Snipes, and Cecil Snipes. He is the great grandfather of Skylee Phifer, Anakin Phifer, Josiah Gray, Kynleigh Halsey, Tyler Garvin, Maggie Garvin, Mallory Garvin, Alaina Howard, and baby Lane O’Neal Hutto on the way, Alex Westmoreland, Mia Washington, Cooper Fulmer, and Aiden Washington. Mr. Howard was the son of the late L. D. and Louise “Easy” Howard.

A time of Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 Monday June 17, 2019 at Bethcar Baptist Church. A Service Celebrating the Life of Mr. Howard will follow at 3 pm with Rev. Chris Addy and Rev. John O’Cain ministering. Mr. Howard will be laid to rest at his home in the Howard-Thomas Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home at other times.
