Betty (Yon) Fulmer

Wagener – Mrs. Betty Lavinia Yon Fulmer, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019.

Mrs. Betty is the mother of Richard (Brandon) Fulmer, Ronnie Fulmer, Teressa (Eddie) Gleaton, and Gary (Brenda) Fulmer. Mrs. Betty was the wife of George “G. W.” Fulmer for 58 years. She is the grandmother of Angel (Justin) Walters, Casey Fulmer, Breanna (Zach) Tuten, Ashlyn Southern, Clayton (Tori) Fulmer, Marci (Russell Bell) Fulmer, Shade (Brittany Temples) Fulmer, Meghan (Ryan) Scott and Jeremy (Cierra) Gleaton. She is the great grandmother of Remington Walters, Grace Tuten, Noah Fulmer, Aria Fulmer, Evie Fulmer, Dawson Fulmer, and Addison Scott. Mrs. Betty is the sister of Daisy Young, and the late Brodus Yon, Sr., B. W. Yon, Jack Wesley Yon, the late O’Ray Yon, Bobby Yon, Franklin Yon Sr., J. E. Yon, and Infant Boy. She is the sister-in-law of Phyllis Yon, Peggy Yon, Frances Gable, Patsy Fulmer, Ailene Privett, Bobby Heaton, and Connie Fulmer. Her special pet is Zoey. Mrs. Betty’s granddaughters Angel and Marci were her caregivers.  She is the daughter of Ben and Lillie Cooper Yon.

Mrs. Betty is a member of Perry First Assembly of God where she played the piano and enjoyed singing. She loved making crafts, sewing, bird watching, and spending time with the grands and great grands.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, May 4th in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services.  A Service Celebrating the life of Mrs. Betty will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, May 5th at Perry First Assembly of God. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Roger Hunnicutt is ministering.
