Betty Jo Harper Mesquin

Wagener – Ms. Betty Jo Harper Mesquin, 85, entered into rest Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Ms. Betty is the mother Michael (Sandra) Jarrett of Evans, GA and Christine (Ron) Kaufman. Ms. Betty is the grandmother of Stephanie (Justin) Davis, Christopher (Jennifer) Jarrett, Jason (Alicia) Helveston. She is the great grandmother of Allie Davis, Levi Davis, River Grace Jarrett, Lily Brook Jarrett, Lauren Helveston, and Sophie Helveston. Ms. Betty is the sister of Johnny (Bertis) Harper.

Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her husbands; Everett “John” Jarrett and Edmond Charles Mesquin, her sister Nancy Harding, and her parents Delford Charles Harper and Geraldine Juanita Edwards Harper.

Ms. Betty was a member of Seivern Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Auxiliary.

The family expresses their grateful appreciation to Ms. Betty’s caregiver, Deede Watts, and Compassionate Care Hospice for the love and compassion shown to her, and the family in caring for their mother.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday November 11, 2018 at Aiken Memorial Gardens, 1523 Edgefield Hwy Aiken SC 29801.
