Carolyn (Poole) Bolton

Springfield – Mrs. Carolyn Poole Bolton, 75, entered into rest Sunday, July 2, 2017.

Mrs. Carolyn “Crack” is the wife of Olin “Hun” Bolton of Springfield for 51 years. She is the mother of Danny G. (Ann) Bolton of Swansea; grandmother of Curtis Bolton and Todd (Ashley) Bolton; great grandmother of Colby Bolton, Caylee Bolton, Kennedy Bolton, Easton Bolton, Haven Bolton, Kellan Bolton. Carolyn is the sister of Glen (Chris) Poole of Salley, Della (Clarence) Jackson of Acworth, GA, Emily (the late John) Jackson, and Kay Yon of Salley, and the late Buddy Poole. She is the sister-in-law of J.B Bolton of Salley, Jimmy (Lynn) Bolton of Springfield, Dorothy (the late Robert) Bombard of Orangeburg, Lucy (the late Richard) Hoover of Wagener, Betty Jean (the late Jimmy) Cooper of Salley, Patsy (Floyd) Williams of Springfield, and the late John Bolton, Cecil Bolton, Willie Bolton Sr., Ralph Bolton, Thomas (Latrell) Bolton, and Harold Bolton. She is the niece of Ada Mae Hutto.

Mrs. Carolyn is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was daughter of the late James E. “J.E.” and Aileen Cato Poole.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Gladys Hayes for her compassion and care giving.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 5th, in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will be 4 pm Thursday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (150 Hi Cotton Lane, Springfield) with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Adam Hensley, Rev. Grayson Butch Blackwell, and Timmy Barr will be ministering to the family. 

The family asks that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 7737 Neeses Hwy, Springfield, SC 29146.
