Charlie Cooper

Wagener – Mr. Charlie Cooper, 79, entered into rest Saturday, October 19, 2019. 

Mr. Charlie has been married to Sarah Hartley Cooper for fifty-seven years. He is the father and father –in-law of Robin and Charles Rushton. Mr. Charlie is the grandfather of Mitch Rushton, his wife Amber; and Brittany Rushton. He is the brother and brother-in-law of Hazel and David Poole, Geneva and David Lewis, the late Effie Lorraine Cooper, the late Jack Raford Cooper, the late Cecil and Susie Cooper, the late Dorothy and Pete Johnson, and the late Donald Cooper and his wife Carolyn.

Mr. Charlie was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. He was the manager of the Cutting Room at Wagener Manufacturing where he retired.

A Memorial Service Celebrating the life of Mr. Charlie will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 5 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Pastor John O’Cain is ministering to the family. A time of visitation will follow the service.
