Dean "Nick" Carmine, Jr.

WEST COLUMBIA - Service for Mr. Dean “Nick” Carmine, Jr. , 74, of West Columbia will be held at 9 am Monday, November 27th  at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church, 724 Buff St., West Columbia, SC, served by Father Thomas Moore.  The Panikhida (Prayer) Service and Visitation will be at 6 PM at the church on Sunday. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the building fund of Holy Apostles Orthodox Church, 724 Buff St., West Columbia, SC 29169. 

Interment will follow funeral service at the Monastery of Saints Mary and Martha, 65 Spinner Lane, Wagner, SC. 

Nick was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a Technical Writer at National Cash Register (NCR). Nick was a Radio Announcer for WLFF AM 620, Sunny 100 and B106.

Nick was married to Marjorie Ann Collins Carmine. He was the father of Kristina “Kris” Copeland, and Richard D. Carmine of West Columbia, and James Scott Carmine of San Francisco, CA. Nick was the son of the late Dean Carmine, Sr. and the late Elsie Caroline Wakeham Carmine. Nick has eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
