Eleene M. Neese

Lexington – Mrs. Eleene McIver Neese, 86, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 5, 2018.

Mrs. Neese is the widow of the late Barney Ray Neese, Sr. She is the mother of Steve (Trudy) Neese of Pelion, Barney Ray Neese, Jr. of Pelion, Cindy (Ronnie) Riley of Saluda, Tammy (Wayne) Flake of Pelion, Nora (Chad) Sharpe of Gilbert, and the late Mary Furtick whose husband is Charles Furtick of Swansea. She is the grandmother of; Sandy (Rusty) Sharpe, the late Tommy (Wendy) Furtick, Amanda (Nick) Hartley, Ryan (Debbie) Neese, Lisa (Doug) Gray, Allen (Heather) Riley, Eddie Riley, Cynthia (Karon Simmons) Riley, Robert Flake, MaryBeth Flake, Samantha Rabon, Justin Sharpe, and Taylor Sharpe and great grandmother of; Dalton Sharpe, Kaitlyn Sharpe, Meagan Sharpe, Thomas Furtick, Bridgette Furtick, Hunter Hartley, Hannah Hartley, Emily Frye, Andrew Gray, Nathan Gray, Derrick Riley, Zack Riley, Lucas Riley, Jaxon Riley, Harvey Simmons, Summer Sharpe and Savannah Sharpe.  Mrs. Neese is the sister of Montene Finton of Ohio, the late Carl McIver, the late Nolton McIver, the late H. B. McIver, and the late alma Bailey. She is the daughter of the late Addie and Carrie Stabler McIver.

Mrs. Neese was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. 

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener. A Service to Celebrate the life of Mrs. Neese will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Mrs. Neese will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. for viewing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
