Wagener – Mr. George Allen Charles, Jr., 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

George was the brother of Scott W. Charles and the late Lt. Col. US Army retired Richard “Rick” (Miranda) Charles. Born in Munich Germany he was the son of the late MSGT USAF retired George Allen Charles, Sr. and the late Thelma Marie Steadman Charles.

George was retired from UPS as a delivery driver. He was a member of Wagener United Methodist Church. George graduated from Wagener-Salley High School in 1970 and graduated from USC. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters local #509.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4th at 3 pm at Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremations Services Chapel, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC.
