Jack K. Corbitt

Pelion – Mr. Jackie “Jack” Corbitt, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6, 2019.

Mr. Jack is the loving husband of 19 years to Margie Leigh Toole Corbitt. Margie’s son is Gerald Ross (Liz) Hutto. Jack’s sisters and brothers-in-laws are Miranda “Mandy” (Stanley) Rawls, Lucienda “Cindy” (Keith) Black. His father-in-law is Johnnie N. Toole, Sr. He also has several nieces and nephews. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Olin Danzler Corbitt, Jr. and Claude Roof Gleaton Corbitt, his brother Olin D. “Buck” Corbitt, III, and his brother-in-law Jonnie  "Jay" N. Toole, Jr.

Mr. Jack was a truck driver for Overnite Trucking for 32 years. He is a member of Christ Sanctified Holy Church where he faithfully attended.

He will be dearly missed and loved by his wife and family.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am Thursday in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at 11 am also in the chapel. Brother Harry Collins and Brother Don Samols will be officiating. Burial will be at Salley Oakview Cemetery.
