James "Jim" Barney Sharpe, Jr.

Salley – James “Jim” Barney Sharpe, Jr., 67, entered into rest Sunday, November 24, 2019.

Jim is husband of Diane Curtis Lucas Sharpe. He is the father of Christopher “Chris” (Melissa) Sharpe, Kenneth Ray Williams, and Tracy Williams. Jim is the grandfather of Kaden Sharpe, Niki Williams, and Savanna Dooley. He is the brother of Rodger (Veronica) Sharpe. Jim is the son of the late Kay Rodgers Sharpe and the late James Barney Sharpe, Sr. He is the nephew of Gertrude Jones and the late Silas Rodgers.

Jim worked for Boykin Electrical Contracting, Inc. and was owner of JBS Equipment. Jim loved working in his garden. He was known for having the best tomatoes around.

A Service Celebrating the life of Jim will be held 2 pm on Wednesday at Perry Baptist Church. Visitation will follow the service.
