Kimberly (Donahue) Adkins

Pelion – Mrs. Kimberly Donahue Adkins, 46, entered into rest Saturday, January 27, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Kimberly was the wife of Alex Adkins for twenty-five years. She was the mother of Sherrie Birmingham of Gaston, James (Tiffany) Donahue of Wagener, Lee (Megan Bodie) Donahue of Pelion, and Breanna (Travis Wyatt) Adkins of Pelion. Kimberly was the Nanny of Joshua Cook, Alissa Cook, Kirra Mallory, Harrison Donahue, Mariah Donahue, Mason Donahue, Raelynn Donahue, Tyler Wyatt, and Alexis Wyatt. She is the sister of Lynn (Moe) York, Dyan (Tommy) Smith all of Mississippi, and the late Rocky Harrelson. Kimberly was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hazel Harrelson Donahue.

Kimberly was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be from 3 to 4 Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 310 Gator Road (just off Hwy # 302 near South Congaree), Gaston, SC 29053. The Funeral Service will begin at 4 pm also in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. John O’Cain will be ministering with the family.
