Linda Brown Courtney

Wagener – Mrs. Linda Kay Brown Courtney, 71, went to be with the Lord on Resurrection Sunday, April 1st, 2018.

Mrs. Linda has been married to Bobby E. Courtney for fifty-three years. She is the loving mother and mother-in-law of Tonya Courtney Storey and Mike. Mrs. Linda is the Granny of Zoe Isabella Storey. She is the sister of Margaret (late Charles) Hutto. Mrs. Linda is the daughter of the late Arthur Brown and Ida Corbett Brown. Mrs. Linda has several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Linda was born in Salley. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wagener and worked at Tyler Brothers for many years.

The family will receive friends; Tuesday, April 3rd from 6 to 8 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, April 4th also in the chapel with the Rev. Henry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Salley Oakview Cemetery.
