Marilyn "Nan" Nanette Yon

Salley – Ms. Marilyn Nan Yon, 64, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 31, 2019.       

Nan is the mother of Kelly (Rusty Williams) Puckett, Erick Puckett, and the late Jennifer Puckett. She is the grandmother of Brandon (Hope Lewis) Prince, Matthew (Megan Spivey) Prince, and Mitchell Hall. Nan is the great grandmother of Kenzie Floyd, Kristian Lewis, Kymber Floyd, Kailynn Carter, and Kaison Prince on the way. She is the sister of Randall (Wanda) Yon and Jan (Randy) Shumpert. Nan is the daughter of the late O’Ray Yon and Annette Poole Yon. She is the aunt of Christy (Eric) Ayers, Stephen Yon, Brenton Yon, Scott Shumpert, Andrew (Leah) Shumpert, and Daniel (Helen Rumsey) Shumpert. She is the great aunt of Austin, Mykala, Tristin, Nate, Melody, Harmony, Braxton, Abigail, Silas, Elizabeth, and Abel O’Ray on the way.

Nan was born in the Sawyerdale Community May 29, 1955. She is a member of Perry First Assembly of God. Nan was a loving mother and grandmother. She was lovingly called Ma and Nana by everyone close to her.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm Friday, September 6, 2019 at Perry First Assembly of God. The Funeral Service will follow at 4 pm also in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the home of Kelly Puckett.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers for donations be made to Blizzard Funeral Home at P. O. Box 235, Wagener, SC 29164 to assist with funeral expenses.
