Very saddened to learn of Phil's passing. We worked in the same Department when Phil started at NCR in 1985 and lived in the same apartment complex and got to know each other and become good friends. He was very committed to his work and quickly moved up the ranks at NCR. I respected his work ethic and drive to succeed. We were groomsmen in each other's wedding. Phil will always have a special place in my heart and I'm grateful the Lord brought our paths together. Phil was a loyal friend who was always willing to offer a helping hand or encouraging word. He enjoyed life and having a hearty laugh. He was passionate about whatever he did and pursued excellence in all of his endeavors. I know his family was very important to him and he enjoyed his trips back to Ohio to visit them. Praying for the LORD to comfort, encourage, and strengthen Katie and Phil's family during this difficult time.

I remember Phil from my 15 years working at NCR Columbia. He was always very professional and courteous to my sometimes urgent customer requests. I also remember Katie from NCR volleyball and how much fun we all had playing in those leagues. I was saddened today to read about his passing, but also encouraged reading about his life, farm and interests over the past two decades. May the God of all comfort and the peace of Christ that passes all understanding be with the family at this time.
