Ronald "Ron" John Gullage

Wagener – Mr. Ronald “Ron” John Gullage, 74, entered into rest Friday, August 9, 2019. He fought a 3 year battle with cancer right to the end.

Ron is survived by his wife of 4 months short of their 40th Anniversary; Donna Hunter Gullage; daughters Kristen (Christopher) McDaniels and Kimberly Gullage; son Ronald Gullage, Jr.; grandchildren Tyler Frechette, Tessa Frechette, Lucas Frechette, and Devan Gullage; sisters Joan Spencer, Margie Murchie, and sister-in-law Mary Hoffman, and several nieces and nephews.

Ron is the son of Joseph and Doris Upton Gullage. He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Jack Hunter; mother-in-law Connie Hunter; brothers William Gullage, Joseph Gullage, and Charles Gullage; sisters Doris Partridge, Barbara Cunningham, and grandson Keith Pieper.

Visitation will be 3 pm Sunday, August 11, 2019 in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services.  The Funeral Service will follow at 4 pm. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.

The family expresses their grateful appreciation to MSA Hospice (Fran Cooke, his nurse, Melissa Olsen, Andie Dick, and Reilly Hammond, Chaplain) for their care of Ronnie and the family. Thanks also to Amedisys Home Health (Dawn, Shavel and Shannon) who cared for him prior to going on Hospice.
