Allen Legare Murray, Jr.

Salley – Mr. Allen Legare Murray, Jr., 47, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Allen is the loving husband of Holly Hill Murray. They have been married 17 years. He is the father of Aulden Murray, Eason Murray, Emory Murray, and Annaleigh Murray. Allen is the son of Gloria Jean Combs Murray and Allen Legare Murray, Sr. He is the brother of Todd Allen Murray and his wife Sydney, Patricia Lynn Beal and her husband David, and Tadd Allen Murray. Allen is the son-in-law of Anita O’Neal Vogt and her husband Mike and the late Stephen Marion Hill and Sandra Lindsey. He is Grandson of Barbara King. He is the brother-in-law of Christopher Stephen Hill and his wife Patty, and Amie Hill Davis and her husband Ron. Allen has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Allen is an employee of Blanchard Equipment where he has worked for 18 years. He was a faithful part of the life and ministry of Rocky Grove Baptist Church teaching Sunday school, children's church and worker with the building of ramps committee. Allen was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father who loved his family. He enjoyed bailing hay, spending time with his family and teaching his children about life, love, and Christ.

Visitation will be 1-2:30 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. A Service Celebrating Allen’s life will follow at 3 pm, also in the church sanctuary. Pastor John O’Cain will be ministering to the family.
