Alvin "Buck" Carnes

Pelion – Mr. Alvin “Buck” Townes Carnes, 77, entered into rest on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

Buck is the father of Tonya Moore whose husband is Rick, and the late Robert Carnes. He is the grandfather of Stephanie Tullos whose husband is Allan. Buck is the son of the late Eulas Walter Carnes and the late Annie Louise Clark Carnes. He is the brother of the late Wayne, Alice, Sandra, and Robert. His best friend is Harvey Wise.

Buck is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Graveside Service will be 10 am on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Pelion Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors.
