Annette (Gunter) Poole

Annette Gunter Poole, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Annette is survived by her children: Leree (Jyl) Poole, Denise (Russell) Williams, and Clifford (Chrysti) Poole, Jr., grandchildren: Kimberly Poole, Marissa (Stephen) Lanier, Chloe Poole, Carli Poole, Hannah Orrey, Heather (Chester) Parker, Jamie Elliott, Brittany Jordan, and Nicklas Williams, great granddaughter, Autumn “Peanut” Chrisman, siblings: Elva Randall, Val (Sidney) Tharp, Nancy (Martin) Tharp, and Oronda Taylor.

Annette is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years until his passing in 2022, Laston C. Poole, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her grandson Marcus Orrey, her parents: Treshman Capers “T.C.” Gunter and Iris Irene Gunter, and her siblings and in-laws: Irene (Garry) Hawley, Rae Boswell, Julian Treshman “J.T.” Gunter, Junita (Laurie) Baughman, and Jerry Taylor.

Annette was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family. She was a shipping supervisor for many years. Annette was a people person who loved her family and friends dearly.

Visitation will be 5:30-6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 pm also in the church sanctuary.
