Armando is survived by Maria Trinidad Rico Mares; his sons Nathen Hilley, Alexander Torres-Hilley, Patrick Torres-Hilley and Christopher Rico Mares; his parents Francisco Torres Orta and Gregoria Torres Mendoza; his siblings Guadalupe Torres, Antonia Torres, Santos Torres, Carmen Torres, Josefina Torres, Bernardo Torres, Irene Torres, Isabel Torres, and Lorena Torres and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 320 W Columbia Avenue, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm the following evening, Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164.

A burial will take place at a later date in San Felipe, Mexico.

Una Misa the sepultura Cristiana se llevara acabo el Miercoles, Julio 26 del 2023, en la iglesia San Juan de la Cruz, en Batesburg-Leesville, Carolina del Sur. La familia recibirá an amigos de 6 a 8pm el Jueves, 27 de Julio, 2023 en la Casa Funeraria Blizzard, con dirección en, 153 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164.
