Ashley Eleana Peele

Swansea – Ashley Eleana Peele, 34 entered into the arms of Jesus Friday, March 3, 2023.

Ashley was the daughter of Dennis Roy Peele and his fiancée Teresa Chesser, and the late Jenny Ann Burkett Peele. She was the sister of Amanda P. Bunting (Charles) and Krystian Blackwell. Ashley is survived by her grandmother, Jenny Burkett; her godmother, Paula Garner; her aunts, Betty P. Gwyn (Barry); Brenda P. Turner (who was like her second mother); Kay Covington (Bobby); and Kristie Glass (George). She is the aunt of Lillian Blackwell. Ashley had so many loving cousins.

In addition to being predeceased by her mother, Ann Burkett Peele, she was predeceased by her grandparents Roy & Ollie Jeffcoat Peele, and Johnny Burkett; her aunt, Sarah Turner, and her uncle, Stan Turner. She was also predeceased by her Uncle Charlie Turner (Aunt Brenda’s husband); and her uncles Johnny Burkett and Charles Burkett.

Ashley was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She loved children, animals, singing, and jewelry. Ashley was the very definition of unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel, Wagener, SC. Visitation will follow the service. Pastor Mark Crumpton will be ministering to the family.

A private burial ceremony for the family will be held at a later date.
