Barney Ray Bodie

Barney Ray Bodie, 72, entered into rest on June 21, 2025.

Barney was born on November 4, 1952, to the late Ray Daniel Bodie and the late Doris Jean Courtney Bodie.

Barney is survived by his son, Paul Ray Bodie and his wife Melissa, brothers: James Andrew “Andy” Bodie and his wife Darlene, and Nathan Daniel Bodie and his wife Michelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barney was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany.

Memorials may be made in Barney’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriner’s Children Hospital.

Funeral Service will be 11 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Bethcar Baptist Church. Visitation will follow the service. Rev. Chris Addy will be officiating.
