Barry Lee Peele

Salley – Mr. Barry Lee Peele, 60, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Barry is the father of Barry Lee “B.J.” Peele, Jr. and his wife Emma, and Jacob Allen Peele. He is the grandfather of Kira Serenity Peele, Ellie Lyne Peele, Virginia June Peele, and Hazel Grace Peele. Barry is the son of the late William Kenneth Peele, Sr. and the late Betty June Green Peele. He is the brother of Wanda Borup and her husband Craig, Sandra “Sandy” Collins and her husband Ted, Charles “Bo” Peele and his wife Lucy, Debra Mae “Sissy” Fogle, Sonya Altendorf and her husband Mark, Lisa Acuff, Michael Peele, the late William “Pete” K. Peele, Jr. and his companion, and the late Kendra Elizabeth Clifton and her husband Harry. Barry has many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His lifelong friend is Purvis Blizzard.

Barry was a talented carpenter. He loved the outdoors and nature. Barry enjoyed college sports. He was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. Barry loved his family and friends.

Visitation will be 2-3 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 3 pm also in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
