Ms. Betty Lou Windham Christensen, 79, entered into rest on day, Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Ms. Betty is the mother of four sons, the grandmother of five, and the great grandmother of eight. Ms. Betty is the sister of Robert “Bob” Windham and James “Jim” Windham and his wife Trini. She is the daughter of the late Dorothy Elizabeth “Dot” Greene Windham and the late Herbert Harold Windham. Ms. Betty is the Aunt of several nieces and nephews and their families.
Ms. Betty was born and raised in West Columbia. She graduated Brookland-Cayce High School, Class of 1959. Ms. Betty was a cosmetologist who later became a long distance truck driver, a job she loved.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Extended Care, Lexington Trace for their compassionate care of Betty.
