Betty Craft Williams

Betty Craft Williams, 88, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Betty is the widow of Charles Lane Williams. They had been married fifty-four years at his passing in 2013. She is the mother of Betty Layne Yon and her husband the late Paul Edward Yon, Charles “Chuck” Lawrence Williams and his wife Jacqueline, and Ronald “Ron” Lathan Williams and his wife Nicole “Nikki”. She is the grandmother of Christopher “Chris” Lee Williams, Charles Bruce Lane Williams and his wife Sharon, Lisa Denelle Williams, Trevor Elders and his fiancée Destiny Powell, and Alicia Spires and her husband Matthew, great grandmother of Christopher Lee Williams, Jr., Alexas Jade Ripperdan, Alyssa Rae Ripperdan, Paisley Noel Williams, Layna Grace Williams, Maci Alana Williams, Taylor Alise Goff, Abigail Marie Spires, and Blakelyn Elizabeth Spires. She is the sister of the late Joe Dean Craft and his wife Lou Craft, the late Buddy Rawls, the late Bernon Craft, the late Callie Craft, the late Dupree Craft, and the late Dalton Craft. She was born in the Pelion Community to the late Marion Shafter Craft and the late Josephine Mary Cook Craft Dye.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty’s honor may be made to the Pelion Senior Center - PO Box 159, Pelion SC 29123.

Visitation will be 3-5 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 2 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Pelion Oaklawn Cemetery.
