Bobby E Courtney

Wagener – Mr. Bobby E. Courtney, 78, went to join his wife at the feet of Jesus on Monday, October 5, 2020.

Mr. Bobby was the loving husband of the late Linda Kay Brown Courtney for 58 years. Mr. Bobby is the father of Tonya Courtney Storey and her husband Mike. He is the PaPa of Zoe Isabella Storey and Axl Zayn Storey. Mr. Bobby is the brother of Linda Peeples and her husband Robert, Monnie Romines and her husband Gary, and the late Norman T. Courtney and his wife the late Listine and the late Gail Courtney McNair. He is the brother-in-law of Margaret Ann Brown Hutto and her husband the late Charles. He is the son of the late Theodore Elmore Courtney and the late Monnie Poole Courtney. Mr. Bobby has many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobby was a graduate of Wagener High School. He was a Mason in the Cedar Lodge # 184 of Wagener. Mr. Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church of Wagener. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Graveside service will be 4 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Salley Oakview Cemetery. Rev. Chris Addy will be ministering to the family.
