Charlotte Jean (Meade) Christian

Wagener – Mrs. Charlotte Jean Meade Christian, 81, entered into rest on Friday, February 12, 2021.

Mrs. Charlotte is the wife of Walter M. Christian. They have been together 34 years. She is the stepmother of Walter Scott Christian and his wife Pamela, and Vera Lynne Huston and her husband Dean. Mrs. Charlotte is the grandmother of Jason Christian and his wife Kassie, Joshua Christian and his wife Emily, Anthony Huston, and Abigail McKinney and her husband Jason. She is the great grandmother of Alex Christian, McKenzie Christian, and Hannah Christian. Mrs. Charlotte is the sister of Lois Horton and her husband Don, Judy Wheeler and her husband Gene, Joan Leonard, Lorine Leonard, Kaye Kilgore and her husband Walter, Howard E. Meade, Jr., Ernest Meade and his wife Allie, Lacy Meade and his wife Patty, Douglas Meade and his wife Toby, Dwaine Meade and his wife Jennifer “Jennie”, and Preston Meade and his wife Melanie. She is the sister-in-law of the late William Christian and his wife Caroline. She is the daughter of the late Howard Ellis Meade, Sr. and the late Dorothy Pauline Tuggle Meade.

Mrs. Charlotte enjoyed reading, working in the garden, and canning the fruits of her garden. Mrs. Charlotte was an excellent housekeeper.

Visitation will be 1-2 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Perry First Assembly of God with Funeral Service following at 2 pm. Burial will be at Wagener Cemetery. Pastor Roger Hunnicutt is ministering. Social distancing and face coverings are recommended.
