Clarence Edward Harsey

Wagener – Mr. Clarence “Pop” Edward Harsey, 86, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Clarence is survived by his children: Cynthia “Cyndi” Harsey Nantz, Ronnie Bruce Harsey, and Adam Roscoe, grandchildren: Guy (Candace) Painter, Michael Roscoe, Bruce (Crystal) Harsey, John Harsey, Catrina Bargiol, Jacob Adam (Rebecca) Roscoe, and Carolyna Joye Roscoe, great grandchildren: Calob Painter, Kayla Painter, Keira Painter, Kadence Painter, Zoey Painter, Peyton Painter, Shawn Michael Roscoe, Michael Edward Roscoe, Kenzy Roscoe, Joshua Harsey, Nathan Harsey, and Justin Harsey, siblings: Freddie Harsey and Etta Jane (Herbert) Matimoto, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Clarence was born on December 18, 1938, to the late Rosa Lee Keisler Harsey and Willie Edward Harsey. He is also preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Lula Tindal Harsey, grandchildren: Danny Carson and Melissa Roscoe, great grandchildren: Mason Roscoe, Gracelynn Roscoe, and Marlee Roscoe, siblings: Willie Odell Harsey, Charlie Harsey, and Ronnie Harsey, and sister-in-law: Evelyn Harsey.

Clarence was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an animal lover and enjoyed raising goats and donkeys. A mechanic by trade, he was a dedicated and hard worker. Clarence was a family man who cherished every moment he spent with them.

Visitation will be 1 -2 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be 2 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 also in the Chapel. Burial will be at Pelion Oaklawn Cemetery.
