Curtis Lamar Mosley, Sr.

Mr. Curtis Lamar Mosley, Sr., 78, entered into rest on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Curtis is the husband of the late Judy Talton Mosley, they were married for 42 years until her passing in 2011. Curtis is the father of Curtis L. Mosley, Jr. and his wife Sharon, Dwayne P. Mosley and his wife Tristy, and Angela R. Endsley and her husband Jeremiah. He is the grandfather of Leslie M. Mosley and Layla “Breanna” Endsley. He is the son of the late Sallie Christine Lucas Mosley and the late Oscar Harold Mosley. Curtis is the brother of Patricia Mosley Blackwell and her husband Larry, and the late Hannah Kay Mosley.

Curtis was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was an American Free Mason, he was a member of the Cayce Lodge 384, and he was a Shiner with the Jamil Temple. Curtis was an avid hunter and was a member at Big Salkehatchie Hunting Club. He loved his children, grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law, and his nieces and nephews. He will be forever loved and missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 4 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at The Edge Church - 3220 Platt Springs Road West Columbia SC 29170. Visitation will follow the service. Pastor John Lastinger will be officiating.
