David Earl Moore

Aiken – David Earl Moore, 74, entered into rest Thursday, March 12, 2020.

David is the son of the late Louie and Jessie Mae Cox Moore. David is the husband of Linda Baughman Moore. They have been married fifty-one years. David is the father of Timothy “Tim” Hutto, Lisa M. Rodgers and her husband David, and Donna M Hutto and her husband Allan. Christy Hutto; mother of Brittany and Taelor. David is the grandfather of Dustin Dillon, Brittany Hutto, Taelor (Justin) Helmuth, Cody (Miranda) Rodgers, Tiffany (Chris) Cain, Amy (Luis Ayala) Rodgers, and Preston Hutto. David is the great grandfather of Hayden Creech, Saylor Rodgers, Landen Helmuth, and Lawson Helmuth. He is the brother of Louise (late Norman) Fox, Roy (Shirley) Moore, the late Edgar (Hope) Moore, Walter (Margie) Moore, Linda (late Doug) Bledsoe, Harold “Buddy” (Linda) Moore, Lunette (late Tony) Winburn, Mike (Melissa) Moore, and Lois (Ben) Christenson. David’s in-laws are Harvey (Marjorie) Fox and the late Richard Fox. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was born in Aiken County. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. David was a member of Kedron Baptist Church. David was a Poultry Farmer who also loved carpentry, fishing, and hunting. Many hours were spent enjoying time with his children and grandchildren. Serving God and his family were most important in his life.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 5 – 7 pm.  A service celebrating David’s life will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Kedron Baptist Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Kedron Baptist Church or Earle Church of God at 341 Earl Church Road, Aiken, SC 29805.
