David Michael "Mike" "Hollywood" Strother, Sr.

Fairview – Mr. David Michael “Mike” “Hollywood” Strother, Sr., 62, entered into rest Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Mike is the father of David Michael Strother, Jr. and his wife Susan, and Jamie Michael Strother. He is the grandfather of David Michael Strother, III, Brandon Elliott Strother, Gabriel Suzanne Strother, Gabriel Alexander Strother, Tristan Strother, and Cayden Strother. Mike is the son of the late Franklin Eugene Strother, Sr. and the late Evelyn Jeffcoat Strother. He is the brother of Tommy Strother and his wife Cynthia, James Dean Strother and his husband Steven, and the late Franklin Eugene “Duck” Strother, Jr. Mike has several nieces and nephews.

Mike was a Master Craftsman who could build anything. He graduated Airport High School in 1978. Mike loved animals, the outdoors, and fishing. He is loved by his family and will be missed.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5-6 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. A time of reflection will begin at 6 pm also in the chapel.
