Debi Hursey

Debra “Debi” Elaine Kinzly Hursey, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Debi is the wife of Sid Hursey. They have been married for 37 years. She is the mother of Adam Hursey and his wife Attley, and Skylar Hursey. Debi is the grandmother “Lolly” of Reid Hursey and Savannah Hursey. She is the daughter of Dianne Kinzly and Daniel Kinzly. Debi is the sister of Danielle Johnson.

Debi attended Clinton United Methodist Church. When Debi felt led to, she would give out prayer beads that she made to give encouragement to those in need. She was known as the “Bead Lady” at Augusta Oncology.

Debi had “wicked” wit that could not be matched. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. Sid was the love of Debi’s life. He has faithfully supported and encouraged her, especially for the past 13 years during her cancer treatments.

The Hursey family will receive friends and family at the Kinzly residence on Saturday, July 8, 2023 staring at 1 pm.
