Mr. Dennis Ralph Singleton, Sr., 84, entered into rest on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Left to cherish Dennis’s memories are his wife of 11 years, Judy May Rackley Singleton, children: Shannon Clarke and her husband Michael, Lee Singleton and his wife Lisa, Christopher Timm and his wife Anne, Dennis Singleton, Jr and his wife Jennifer, Patrick Singleton and his wife Tiffany, step-children: Cecila Johnson and her husband Martin, Kathy Jo Googe and her husband Luther, Cecil Ayers, III and his wife Lynn, grandchildren: Sarah Randolph, Stephanie Clarke, Lilly Singleton, Chole Singleton, Anna Timm, Haley Timm, Nathan Singleton, Natalie Singleton, Brandan Singleton, Louis Singleton, Charlotte Singleton, Kaley Googe, Grace Googe, Kansas Googe, Gylian Googe, Lane Johnson, Jodi Johnson, Alyssa Ayers, and Chase Ayers, great grandchildren: Minetta Randolph, Kash Jones, Cal Jones, Kolton Johnson, and Chapel Gleaton, sister, Mary Power.
Dennis was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on March 26, 1941, to the late Ralph Secord Singleton and the late Catherine Hart Singleton. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Singleton and his brother-in-law, John Power.
Dennis was a Police Officer in Washington, D.C. and in Virginia, having retired after twenty years of service. Dennis enjoyed learning about history, he was considered a history buff. A man of many traits, Dennis could speak five languages. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where he served as an elder.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service also in the church sanctuary. Bural will follow the service at Wagener Cemetery.
