Donald Richard Jeffcoat

Mr. Donald Richard Jeffcoat, 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Mr. Donald is the husband of Betty Jean Fulmer Jeffcoat. They have been married sixty-four years. He was the youngest of three sons born to the late John Monroe Jeffcoat and the late Nettie Hoover Jeffcoat. Mr. Donald has many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Donald was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He retired as Maintenance Supervisor from Owens Corning in Aiken after more than thirty years of service. Mr. Donald enjoyed wood-working and all aspects of outdoor hunting and fishing/shrimping.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the 6th floor staff at Lexington Medical Center for the care given to Mr. Donald.

Visitation will be 3- 4 pm on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. A Service Celebrating Donald’s life will be at 4 pm also in the church sanctuary with Pastor Johnny Silce and Bishop Willie Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Barnhill, Richard Kneece, Ashley Rawl, Stanley Rawl, Wayne Rawl, and J.J. Robinson.
