Douglas "Doug" Richard Laudenslager

Wagener – Mr. Douglas Richard “Doug” Laudenslager, 65, entered into rest on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Doug is the husband of Janice Mae Landis Laudenslager. They have been married forty-seven years. He is the father of Dawn Laudenslager Richbourg and her husband Kevin, and the late Bryan Glen “Puddin” Laudenslager. Doug is the “Pop Pop” of Jodi Danielle Laudenslager and Ryan Douglas Richbourg. He is the brother of Richard Douglas “Rick” Laudenslager and uncle to his daughter Tabitha Laudenslager. Doug also has several other nieces and nephews. He is brother-in-law to Brenda and Merrill Myers, Susan and Gordon Donaldson, and Michael and Sherri Landis. Doug was born in Allentown, PA to the late Richard Charles “Dick” Laudenslager and Shirley Yvonne Doster Laudenslager.

Doug enjoyed riding Harleys, hunting, and spending time with his family. Especially his grandchildren. Doug and Janice made several cross-country bike rides with friends and many day and weekend rides also. Doug enjoyed a long productive career as Site Manager for various Construction Companies building plants throughout the United States. His latest endeavors were through Thompson Construction Group out of Sumter, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
