Earl Elbert Toole

Mr. Earl Elbert Toole, 91, entered into rest Sunday May 7, 2023.

Mr. Earl is the husband of the late Henrietta Young Toole. They were married 64 years until her passing in 2021. He is the father of Linda (Allan) Fogle, Shirley (Bob) Simpson, and Darlene (Terry) Colvin.  Mr. Earl is the grandfather of Robert E. (Kara) Fogle, Sydney Fogle, Sara Fogle, Travis (Caroline) Baccene, Andrew (Tiffany) Colvin, and Cassidy (Waylon) Presswood.  He is the great grandfather of Robert J. Fogle and Rylan Fogle.  Mr. Earl is the son of the late Viola Livingston Toole and the late Lawrence Toole. He is survived by his sister Ola (the late James) Poole. He is preceded in death by his brothers, sisters, and in-laws: Alva (Henry) Dunn, Mary (Tiller) Dukes, Leon (Juanita) Toole, Harry (Tippy) Toole, Marion (Leona) Toole, Louise (John) Steverson, and James Toole.

Mr. Earl was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. He worked at Mt. Vernon for over 30 years. Mr. Earl always loved farming and being outdoors. He took great pride in farming and agriculture. He would work at the cotton mill and return home to farm. Mr. Earl loved the Salley community. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 11-12 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 12 pm also in church sanctuary. Mr. Earl will be laid to rest at Salley Oakview Cemetery beside his wife. Rev. John O’Cain will be ministering to the family.
