Edward "Ed" Allen Sharpe

Gaston – Edward “Ed” Allen Sharpe, 65, entered into rest after a brief illness Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Ed is the father of Jeffrey Allen Sharpe and Kaci Nicole Sharpe. He is the grandfather of Kyler Fulmer, Kailey Fulmer, Riley Sharpe, Klayton Pridmore, and Kayden Pridmore. Ed is the son of the late Lucius Boynton Sharpe and the late Orita Griffin Sharpe. He is the brother of Dot McIver, Margie Drew, Bud Sharpe and his wife Blanche, Helen Williams, Connie Brazell, Larry Sharpe and his wife Connie, Carolyn Sharpe, Burnett Sharpe, Bernice Washington and her husband James, and the late Pauline Timmons, the late Bobby Sharpe, and the late Juanita Inabinent. Ed has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ed was a Carpenter and a “Jack of all Trades”. He enjoyed fishing.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Pleasant Pines Independent Baptist Church, 401 South Main Street, Gaston, SC 29053. Pastor John Richburg will be ministering.

Due to the current pandemic, Social Distancing will be enforced and masks are required.
